Steveston Salmon Festival

This year Sockeyes were once again involved in the Steveston Salmon Festival. They gave away candy to all people enjoying the parade. Along with the great success many people got to see all the trophies won this year by the Sockeyes. There was a good amount of the team there, from players, owners, general manager, alumni, and volunteers. The players had a great time, they had water guns with them to cool off the crowd since it was super hot outside that day. We also had Doug Patterson's vintage car in the line behind the huge semi truck also along with that came a red camaro, a friends of Doug Patterson.
Sockeyes to debut mini hockey program
Richmond Sockeyes Mitch Smith, Trevor Hamaguchi and Jeremy Hamaguchi are going back to their roots. The recent Seafair grads will help to teach players in Seafair’s initiation program such as Tate Taylor and Kiayra Hohlweg through the Mini Sockeyes Hockey Program set to debut next season.
