BCHC Prospect Game Rosters Announced

The British Columbia Hockey Conference announced today the rosters for the KIJHL and PJHL teams that will compete in the first annual BCHC Prospects Game on Tuesday, November 22nd at the Sardis Sports Complex in Chilliwack, BC.

The PJHL’s roster selection process has been guided by head coach Brad Bakken, assistants Cam Campbell and Gary Mahesh, and operations manager Derek Bedard over the past month. Prospects Game rosters are composed primarily of 2005- and 2006-born players, with a maximum of six 2004-born players eligible to be selected by each team.

PJHL ROSTER

KIJHL ROSTER

In goal, the PJHL will be represented by Zack Shaughnessy (Delta Icehawks) and Dylan Rempel (Chilliwack Jets). Cunningham has posted a league-leading 1.50 goals-against average and .930 save percentage through nine appearances with the Icehawks, while Rempel sits in the Top 10 in games and minutes played, wins and goals-against average.

The blueline is led by Lukas Ravenstein (Ridge Meadows Flames), Bruce Grey (Port Moody Panthers) and Nicholas Goyer (Langley Trappers), who currently sit seventh, eighth and ninth in scoring by PJHL defencemen. They are joined by Ben Filippone (Surrey Knights), Michael McIntyre (Richmond Sockeyes) and Brandon Osborne (Ridge Meadows Flames).

The team’s forward group is highlighted by the high-scoring Delta Ice Hawks duo of Brayden Sinclair and Payton Hu, who have combined for 24 goals and 58 points in just 32 combined regular season games. Rounding out the roster up front are Andrew Casellato (North Vancouver Wolf Pack), Dylan Emerson (Port Moody Panthers), Jamie Hylands (Langley Trappers), Colin Jang (Delta Ice Hawks), Theo Kochan (Ridge Meadows Flames), Zack Lagrange (Ridge Meadows Flames), Teo Lin (Richmond Sockeyes), Ryden Mathieson (Port Moody Panthers), Cohen Muc (Ridge Meadows Flames) and Jacob Zaurrini (Langley Trappers).

The PJHL’s Top Prospects will gather in Chilliwack on Monday, November 21st where they will practice and attend an event banquet prior to the game the next day. The 2022 BCHC Top Prospects Game will face off at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, November 22nd and will be broadcast on Hockey TV.
